Henderson Engineers, Inc. (HEI), founded in 1970, provides mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design services through its headquarters in Kansas City as well as seven branch offices. With over 400 employees, including over 100 LEED® APs, HEI has a diversified portfolio that represents a full range of markets including but not limited to: government, education, sports and recreation, retail, corporate, healthcare, grocery, and mixed-use.

In addition to its core services, Henderson Engineers, Inc. houses four specialty divisions: Impact Illumination (architectural lighting), Fire Dynamics (fire protection and code consulting), Collective Tech (comprehensive technology and security design), and Outcome Cx (Commissioning).

Because true sustainability starts from within, HEI has dedicated itself to rethinking every aspect of the company's daily operations. Additionally, through the desire to lead the field in sustainable design, HEI has formed Concept 520, a group that provides support to internal project teams in an effort to deliver consistent, innovative, sustainable solutions on every project.
