Ellerbe Becket, Inc., An AECOM Company

Ellerbe Becket has been a part of the Kansas City design community since opening an office in Kansas City nearly 20 years ago. In October 2009, the firm joined AECOM's (NYSE: ACM) Architecture group to offer clients even greater resources and a broader range of integrated services. With AECOM, we join a versatile and collaborative community of design and engineering professionals working in all contexts, at all scales - much like Ellerbe Becket. The big advantage is that as a member of the AECOM family, we can now also draw upon additional global planning, design and engineering resources, including city and regional planners, economists, environmental planners, ecologists, landscape architects and a range of transportation, energy and water experts as needed to serve the needs of our clients.

While sports and entertainment is a focus, the Kansas City office in recent years has expanded its offerings to include other areas of the firm's expertise, recognized industry leadership as part of our 100-year legacy. These include healthcare, corporate and government workplace and mission critical facilities. Ellerbe Becket and its Kansas City staff are proud of the role the firm is playing in the city's renaissance with such signature projects as the iconic Charles Evans Whitaker Federal Courthouse, the new Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, and at the heart of it all the glistening jewel of downtown revitalization, the Sprint Center Arena.
